ROUTINE SERVICING IS AS IMPORTANT AS PUTTING FUEL IN YOUR CHERISHED CAR.
Oil can sludge and block all important oilways in the engine, if it were to block the oil pump, the engine would sieze.
Lack of water could result in overheating, could result in a blown head gasket or worse again the engine could sieze through just being too hot.
Poor tyre pressures can cause un-even tyre wear, cause the car car to pull left or right and in extreme cases the tyre can come off the rim.
YOU CAN PREVENT ALL OF THE ABOVE BY CHECKING YOUR OIL, WATER AND TYRES AT LEAST ONCE A MONTH. IF YOU DO NOT KNOW HOW TO DO THIS, TAKE YOUR CAR TO YOUR LOCAL GARAGE.
If you notice anything unusual get in touch with us or your local garae straight away.
Servicing should be completed at least every 12 months or 12 thousand miles, some people have this done when their MOT is due.
If you were to have an MOT done annually, then a service 6 months later, that way your car would be checked twice a Year for safety and road worthiness.
If finances are tight, even just an oil service will help the condition of your cars engine.
REMEMBER....when any service work is completed, get the garage to stamp your service book, keep the invoices and your previos MOT certificates, they are all independent checks of your mileage being genuine.
When you come to sell your car, this information could make a difference to your cars value, sometimes in excess of £500
If you maintain your own car, fill out the service book relative to the work completed and keep the reciepts for the parts, again keep your old MOT certificates.
All our vehicles sold have a 75 point sales and safety check, have service and MOT history for your piece of mind.
